EXCELLENT Based on 225 reviews Posted on Marcela S30 April 2026Verified Great tour and tour guide Adrian was a great tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the areas we saw and was more than happy to entertain all our questions. I’d highly recommend him.Posted on Anyuta190127 April 2026Verified Great guide with extensive knowledge Adrian was a knowledgeable guide, giving us detailed historical information on the sites we visited. He was comfortable to be with. He is a good driver in a comfortable vehicle.Posted on Rodica N23 April 2026Verified A great historical perspective in a fun environment Adi is a fantastic guide. His comprehensive tour offers a very informed historical perspective punctuated with humor and interesting facts. He is kind and ready to help in any situation. This was one of the most enjoyable experiences on our trip. Visiting a castle with Adi will turn your experience into an unforgettable one!Posted on Nell C21 April 2026Verified Beautiful hike ! My sister and I had a really great time with Adrien. The hike was nice and the final landscape was beautiful !Posted on Chiyun Y20 April 2026Verified The most amazing hiking expereince in Romania Adrian is a very kind and responsible guide who knows the trails extremely well. I felt safe hiking with him, especially on sections that were covered in snow and a bit slippery. During the winter, it’s not possible to reach the peak, but the views are still stunning. Adrian is also very knowledgeable about Romanian history, and I learned a lot during the hike. I highly recommend him for hiking, especially if you’re travelling solo.Posted on Clarka H15 April 2026Verified Spectacular Day, full of history! Adrian was very prompt in arriving in a mini van, it could comfortably hold 5 people, but 6 could fit fine and had a bottle of water waiting for us. It took us 3 hours to get to Corvin Castle. When you arrive you will purchase your tickets, you can use a credit card, and Adrian will take you around the castle sharing fascinating information. Please be aware there are a lot of stairs in this castle if you want to tour the whole thing. I am 59 years old and in pretty good health and had no problem, but my 82 year mom, who I consider is very mobile struggled with the amount of stairs. It took us about 1 ½ hours to tour the castle and then Adrian drove us to Sibiu, a beautifully preserved Medieval town. We went to a wonderful restaurant for a late lunch, and then Adrian showed us around the town. They have a beautiful church that you can tour, at a price, but I felt well worth the money. If you would like you can climb the stairs to the tower. Then it is about 1 ½ hour drive back to your hotel. It is a very long day, we were gone about 12 hours. Now for the best part! Adrian was a wealth of information. He is a true historian, knowing everything about his country, from the very beginning when the Roman’s occupied the land to it’s current state. It was a great way to start our trip in Romania, because we knew the history and who were the greats in Romania and who were the not so great. I know Adrian does a full tour of Romania not just Corvin Castle, he can take you to Peles Castle and to Bran Castle. I research a lot before I buy and I would highly recommend Adrian as a tour guide, especially if you love history!Posted on David B2 April 2026Verified Glad we chose this tour! Adrian is very knowledgeable about Romanian history and culture. He is punctual, engaging, able to communicate with different aged travelers and adaptable to the unique needs of his customers. We had a great time - my teenage children enjoyed the experience very much,Posted on Beatriz L6 January 2026Verified Surprising Transylvania Transylvania is much more than the dark images that movies left an impression in our memories. It has beautiful snowy mountains, lovely medieval and colorful cities, stunning castles, charming brown bears, forests, corn fields with crows, delicious food and the list go on. Choosing to visit these places with a knowledgeable guide will add a lot to your experience of the region. Better yet if the tour operator accepts booking of solo travelers as is the case of Wise Transylvania tours. Adrian will provide you not only a tour showing you the main sights, but also will give context to understand what you see and connect the dots with history and culture in a very passionate way. He knows every tiny detail of the places we visited, for example the arrangement of the tiles in one of the castle’s towers. This attention to details turns sightseeing into an unforgettable experience. I booked Corvin Castle & Sibiu - private tour from Brasov and had an amazing day. Didn’t have to worry about the logistics to get at these places, just sat in the car and enjoyed the scenic views, stories and conversation along the way. I learned a lot about Transylvania, Romania and even the juicy details about Vlad the Impaler family. Vlad’s father it’s a really interesting evil character and deserves to be more known. First, we visited Corvin castle – a gothic jewel. It has all you imagine in a castle: moat, dungeon, towers, views to the landscape. We visited ALL rooms that are open to the public. After, we headed to Sibiu. It looks like a fairy tale city. So charming with those colorful houses with eyes. During our walking at the city center there was some drizzle, so we focused more in the indoors visit at the Lutheran Cathedral. Had gorgeous views of the city from the church tower. After we walk at the famous Bridge of Lies and the main square that was been prepared for the Christmas Market. As the previous reviewers I highly recommend taking any of the tours provided by Adrian. You’ll have such a great time with someone that clearly loves what he does and that enthusiastic approach transpires in the experience he offers. If you are considering to visit Transylvania book a tour with Wise Transylvania and you’ll be glad you choose to do so. If I come back to Romania, I’ll for sure book another tour with him because the experience was stunning.Posted on Kyle M2 January 2026Verified Discover Transylvania and its adventures with Wise Tours I came to fulfill a dream to visit and learn all about Transylvania, its history and culture. Thanks to Adrian, I had this magical experience in exploring the region, learning the history in all details possible, followed with some amazing adventures through the Carpathian Mountains. Adrian is not just a great guide with an incredible knowledge about the region, but a man that provides top services in all levels. We had full days discovering the history of Transylvania, visiting incredible sites, like Bran and Peles castles, discovering the cuisines and the region costume but also exploring the wild nature of the Carpathian Mountains. He made one of my dreams come true and it is unforgettable. I am sure he will do the same to you. It will be magical ! Thanks a lot Adrian !Posted on Shay1 January 2026Verified Truly VIP experience—private tour, skipped all lines, stunning castles, Carpathians, and an exceptional guide. This was hands down one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had. From start to finish, our guide made this day absolutely unforgettable and truly special—it felt like a private VIP experience rather than a typical tour. We traveled through the Carpathian Mountains, which alone would have made the day worth it. The scenery was absolutely stunning, and hearing the history and local stories as we drove through the mountains added so much depth to the experience. We visited Bran Castle, Corvin Castle, the beautiful city of Sibiu with its famous “houses with eyes,” and several incredible churches throughout the region. At every major site, we skipped the lines entirely and went straight in—no waiting, no crowds. Our guide clearly knows everyone everywhere, and it made the entire day feel seamless and exclusive, like we were on a true VIP tour. Along the way, we stopped near Corvin Castle at a small local spot to try a delicious Romanian flatbread/pastry with sweet toppings—one of those authentic experiences you would never find on your own. What truly made this tour exceptional was our guide himself. His knowledge of Romanian history, culture, and local traditions was incredible, but even more impressive was how warm, engaging, and genuinely kind he was. He didn’t feel like a tour guide at all—he felt like a friend I’d known for years. Every story was fascinating, every question was welcomed, and his passion for Romania was contagious. We were treated to an absolutely amazing lunch at his family’s restaurant—hands down some of the best food I had in Romania—followed by another delicious meal at a local restaurant later in the day. The hospitality was heartfelt and memorable. Travel was extremely comfortable in a spacious Mercedes Sprinter, with bottled water provided, snack stops along the way, and thoughtful breaks throughout the day. Every detail was handled perfectly so we could relax and enjoy every moment. If you’re considering a day trip in Romania, do not hesitate for a second to book this tour. It’s not just sightseeing—it’s an immersive, personal experience with someone who truly loves his country and treats you like family. I would recommend this guide without hesitation and would book again in a heartbeat.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust.
