Hiking day to Bucegi National Park – starting from Brasov

Our hiking day starts in Brasov, where we’ll pick you up and take you on a scenic drive up to Rasnov, reaching an altitude of 1000 meters. From there, we’ll begin our hike through the magnificent glacial valley of Malaiesti, located on the northern slope of the Bucegi Mountains.

The 6-kilometer hike, which takes about 2-3 hours, is a picturesque trail that will lead us to the Malaiesti Chalet at 1720 meters above sea level. Take a moment to rest and enjoy the breathtaking views while indulging in a delicious lunch and beverages available at the chalet. From here, we’ll continue our journey with a medium-difficulty, shorter hike to the top plateau at 2000 meters, where the panoramic view of the surrounding mountain peaks will leave you speechless.
